A AND N HUNTING CLUB

Some of our most common questions:
Not unless we have openings in both properties and member will have to pay for an individual membership for each one.
Each member is allowed to ACCIDENTALLY harvest 1 immature buck (less than 6 points) with no hard feelings or fines. If a member or his/her guest harvests another immature buck, the fine is $100.00. If it happens a third time, member is subject to fine, loss of membership or both.
In Pickens county, we do encourage hunters to harvest does, moderately. In Morgan county, the buck-doe ratio is much better. This property is being aggressively managed for trophy deer before the population gets above the carrying capacity of the land.
At Pickens county, there is a map in the lodge that each hunter indicates where he/she will be hunting. At Morgan county, there are sign in boxes at both ends of the property that hunters sign in and out in. It is extremely important for both safety, and a good, quality hunting experience that everyone knows where everyone else is when on the hunting land.
Pickens county requires 4 members, Morgan county requires 5 members. This allows each hunter to theoretically hunt 80 to 100 acres without being disturbed. Each property has at least 8 food plots with permanent stands/blinds so each member and his/her guest may hunt a food plot even if all members are present.
Membership in the Pickens lease is $1700.00, membership in the Morgan lease is $900.00. This includes guests. In Pickens county you can hunt deer, turkey, small game and fish in the pond at the lodge at any time seasons permit. You also have access to the lodge and campsite. In Morgan county, you can hunt deer and small game, and have access to the property all year. This is an excellent location to hike, ride horses or atv's or just to have a picnic lunch next to a lovely mountain stream.
First of all, our membership fees pay only the expenses of the club for one year. Second, we don't just have land, we have land in the right place that is proven to produce quality wildlife. Third, our acre to hunter ratio is quite high compared to other hunting clubs. We have over 80 acres per member. Some clubs only provide 40 acres per member or less. And lastly, we like to have a more personal relationship with our members, after all, were going to spend a lot of time together. |
